Business Development Officer - Full Time (Hybrid)
Job Description:
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Officer to help us expand our clientele. You will be part of the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales and business strategy.
Requirements:
The role involves working as part of a young, dynamic, and highly talented team
Applicants must have a flair for business development, networking, and strategy development.
Experience in bidding and tendering; from assessment to submission.
The primary focus and objective will be to develop new oil & gas business opportunities.
Develop leads into opportunities and convert into new accounts.
Leverage on knowledge of industry trends and client challenges to develop and deliver compelling value propositions.
Assist in the assessment, design, and development of technical bidding requirements.
Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Demonstrated commitment to stay abreast of industry trends across multiple business sectors
Attend networking events and conferences both locally ad internationally.
Be familiar with commercial and regulatory vendor management platforms (e.g. Nipex, SupplyHi, E-Tender, etc)
Be prepared to work from our office in Victoria Island, 3-4 days a week.
Business Development Officer Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of solid experience in selling complex business solutions in an Oil and Gas company, especially EPC and/or Maritime.
Tertiary qualifications in Business Management and/or Petroleum Engineering, Sustainability, preferred.
Comprehensive understanding of the Maritime, Oil and Gas business environments, issues and current trends.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and outstanding presentation skills
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, G-Suite)
High level of personal and professional integrity.
Proficiency in English.
